Junky Monkey

So our daughter is the one we call Junky Monkey. She got this name because she always has a bunch of knic knacs and trinkets and a little of this and that in her purse or bag. Its hard to get rid of anything because she likes all of it. She also knows where every single knic knac is kept amongst all of her stuff!
The other day we were getting ready to go to school. We get in the car and Carlie notices a notebook in the car. So, she decides she is going to write a little letter to her "sister" in Albania. She needed a pencil and discovered a pencil was in the spiral part of the notebook. No problem! Then she notices that the pencil's lead is broken off. Now, if this were me in this situation I would have to pause from this project until I had access to a pencil sharpener to sharpen the pencil and then have the opportunity to finish the project. But nooooo, my Junky Monkey reached into her coat pocket and pulled out a little pencil sharpener, proceeded to sharpen her pencil and start her letter.
Whats so amazing to me about this is, first of all, this was an unplanned project that she was going to do. And yet, she had the knic knac needed to continue with the unplanned project. Thats my Junky Monkey.

Awsome Carlie. You know just where to find what you need, when you need it. Imagine, having a pencil sharpener in your pocket. Wow, I don't even know where I'd look to find one of those. Well done, Carlie - keep track of all that precious loot.
