My Pantry

So, I'm finally back at the blog! Today we're getting ready for family flying in to visit us for Christmas and New Year's.
Its so frustrating because it seems like the one constant is that there has to be someone sick when we have family visiting. And so Carlie is running a fever today and now Colby is starting to run one too. We have been doing so good all semester. No one has been sick. We haven't even had the sniffles! And now this fever has hit us from no where. It also sounds like their cousin Levi is also running a fever and he has to travel today! No fun!

Well, Randy and I are cleaning up. I looked in my pantry and thought, "Oh no! Doreen and Steve would not be proud!" I better do something about it. So here is my before picture.

And here is my after picture. What do you think? I think its much better. I don't think my first picture was as bad as the first time that my sister, mom and Steve got a hold of my pantry the first time. But it certainly was not organized!

After getting the pantry organized and the kitchen almost clean, we had to take a break and watch Spider Man 3. The kids hadn't seen that one yet. Last night we all went out to watch a movie in the theatre. We watched National Treasure, Book of Secrets. Calvin loved it. Carlie liked it too, but she had alot of dreams, however I think she was fighting her virus too. I think Colby liked it. He watched the whole thing and was a good boy. But the plot was over his head. He liked the first one, so we thought he would do ok sitting through this one in the theatre. It was filled to the max too! It was a pretty popular movie to watch.

Waaaa ha, ha, ha, ha! That post is waaaaaaay too funny!

Honestly, that 1st shot of the pantry is not nearly as bad as when we first found it!!

The second photo though is a thing of beauty!

One 'slight' correction though. One of us 'straightened' the pantry, two stood by for moral support. FYI! :)

Hope y'all are having a great time with your visiting family!

Proud of y'all and the good steps you've taken! Very nice!
