Surprise B-Day Party

After church we all went to our house and had haystacks for lunch. I use my new food processor to cut up the veggies. WOW! That was done in a blink of an eye. I have to practice a little. I'm not used to such a fancy device in my kitchen. After lunch we vegged out in the afternoon. Then, Tina and I went out to some friend's house to help set up for a surprise birthday party for Randy's brother, Bryan. He turned 40 earlier this month.

We told Bryan it was a church social and our church friends wanted to visit with Bryan and Tina. Bryan knows alot of the people from earlier times. So he knew that we were going out to our friends, but didn't know the true intention. It was a surprise too. Bryan had no clue we wanted to throw a B-day party for him.

We had decor in black. He got a few gag gifts. We had cake and munchy foods too. Yummy. Then we played Catch Phrase for awhile. What a fun game. All of the kids are getting old enough now that they all play together and we old people can play too. But since we're getting old, we wrapped up the party by 9:30pm. By the time we got home 4 of the 5 kids were asleep.
