Show and Tell

Last Friday was Show-and-Tell your pet day. It was Calvin and Carlie's day to bring their pets. So Calvin brought Simba to school and showed him off to the classmates. Simba showed off his new trick, catching the food in mid air. That started up his big stringers and he just about slobbered up everybody there. They got a real sense of what we live with everyday!!!! Simba really enjoyed himself too.

Susie on the other hand really only just tolerated it since she was forced into the situation! At home she tried to disappear on us, but we were right behind her. When we caught up to her, her tail was as poofed out as it could be. Poor thing, we spooked her. But when she was at the school, Carlie showed her off and Susie sat very quietly in her arms. I thought she would wiggle and try very hard to jump out of Carlie's arms.

Susie even let Carlie take her around to the other kids and let them pet her.

We took Simba into the gym with the kids to run around. Then they got a picture with Simba. The teacher is right behind Calvin. She is a great teacher and the kids really like her. They are doing well in school.
