This summer Randy decided he was going to fish for musky. He has been to Mille Lacs lake a couple of times trying to get a bite. He's turned over many muskies but not any bites. So we went north camping and of course fishing is a big part of the agenda. July 4th Randy went out fishing and Calvin went with him. They went out early in the morning.....like, before 5am. Anyway, about 7 in the morning the rest of us at camp were just up and getting breakfast ready when Randy and Calvin came tooling back. They yelled for the camera and for us to come down to the boat quick.
So, as you can see we have another wall hanger. Randy didn't know he had a spotted musky on until he and Calvin actually got the fish on board. Muskies are not native to the waters we were camping at, so he thought he had a large northern on. But he was quite amazed that it was a musky. Randy was so glad that Calvin decided to get up. Calvin was glad too.

Boy, the fish have been biting! In the last post we wondered if Calvin had a haircut and now we see that he did. Which is best? Or is it all fun? (meaning the haircuts.) Love your blogs. Keep them conimg.

Wow, that's one big fish...That would be a fun one to catch. I see that Calvin got his hair cut, Chase was envious of his long hair!!
Well Calvin, I guess your Dad passed you up. Your fish was really big and you can be proud of it, but Oh My! Your Dad's is WAY BIG!!
