We've got lots of fun events planned. Randy put together an agenda, with much protesting from his mother, and we have our menus all planned out too. I would have put it on the blog, but I need to learn how to convert it to jpeg or whatever.
Our year has been a good one. We can't complain about anything. We've all had good health, a roof over our heads and food to eat. Also great family and friends. Probably our highlights of the year involved our family and friends too. In March, we went to Florida to see Randy's brother and family. We met up with friends that actually live in MN. It was funny to meet up with them in FL. We also had friends from TN meet us in FL. Then, the kids and I commuted with the friends from TN up to TN. We left Randy behind for a convention happening in FL. In TN, we visited my family. We had much fun, and the whole time was planned out very nicely by Steve and Doreen. What was challenging about the whole time, was, not only were we there to see my family, but Steve's family was there at the same time. That was alot of people for Steve & Doreen and my parents to entertain and feed. They did an awesome job, even though Steve did get teased pretty hard by me and his brother-in-law. He has rubbed off on me a little bit, because here we are trying our hand at an agenda.
Randy is working in surgery as a scrub nurse. He stepped out of management for now and is having a much better life right now. His stress level is pretty zilch right now. I am in Diabetes Education and am really loving it. My graduate schooling is going well too. I am now half done. It has really gone by fast. At the same time it feels like it will be forever before I'm done!
Calvin is in 5th grade, Carlie is in 3rd grade and Colby is anxiously awaiting kindergarten.
This summer, we had Steve and Doreen and kids along with my life long friend and her husband visit us here. We took them camping at the border of MN and Canada. You have to get to your campsite by boat. We have a pontoon and found a great spot. The scenery was beautiful. We did have to fight bees, wind and waves though! But thats another story. It was great to have all of them visit us up in our neck of the woods.
Anyway, even though some family and friends are far away by miles, you're close to our hearts and we think of you every day.
We hope you all have had a great year for 2007 and that 2008 will also bring you many great times. We know that one of these years won't finish because we will be meeting our Saviour in the sky! That will be the best year of all.
From our family to yours, Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!!!!!!
