My Hunky Monkey

My Hunky Monkey! Here he is doing one of his favorite past-times. I sent him to his brother's for his birthday to go fishing on the ocean. Our nephew went with them fishing. They were successful! I wish that kind of weather was here right now!
I have a request to please keep Randy in your prayers. He has been fighting a sore shoulder for about a year. He always blamed it from not rehabbing it real good after his shoulder surgery. So, he was always stretching it and trying to rehab it on his own. Nothing made any sense when his shoulder would hurt. It could be sore from doing nothing. Then it would seem to get better, then the pain would come back with a vengence. He is living with pain just about every day. So yesterday he saw the doctor and xrays were taken. His shoulder is in rough shape. It looks like it could be something like osteoarthritis or avascular necrosis. He had an MRI done today and so we're hoping to know more what his diagnosis is going to be. Whatever the diagnosis, there isn't much that can be done. His options seem slim right now. The doctor told him if he was 50 or older he would be talking to him about the need of a total shoulder replacement. So this is possibly something that Randy may have to consider sooner than later. Anyway, Randy is very bummed! All the things he likes to do such as bow hunting, fishing for large fish etc. will be a challenge for him. So, I'm hoping for a miracle. I've been listening to the book of John on CD with my kids and I remember some of the miracles that Jesus performed by healing the lame man by the pool and healed the sick child on his death bed. Anyway.....deep thoughts! I'll keep you posted.

So sorry to hear about Randy's shoulder--I was saying to Dad the other day that I wished our bodies would just work and not get sick, etc.
