Calvin's Baptism

Today was a very special day in our family. Calvin got baptized today. He and his buddy that he's known since a baby practically, both decided to publically show their decisions of accepting Jesus as their personal Savior. We were planning a potluck at our house after church but then the weather decided to not cooperate and more people than what we were anticipating decided that they were planning to join us with the potluck. So, we ended up having the potluck at church. Good thing! We were almost crowded at the church too. Yes, the weather is totally awful! We have snow once again on the ground and we all want to BARF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do I make my point clear? BARF!!!!!!! CHUNKS!!!!!!!! OK, my mental state is getting affected just a little bit too. I've tried being positive in a spiritual way with our sins will be as white a snow and correlating that with Calvin's baptism. And thats all nice and such, but frankly I'm just over being nice and positive. I need time to just be mad about it all and not internalize my maddness and share it with you! Aren't you just thrilled about that? I am cause I feel so much better now. Wow blogging is soooooo therapeutic sometimes. Calvin's teacher came to see him baptized and some of his classmates came too. We were touched by their enthusiasim to see Calvin baptized.

What an awesome high day for Calvin and all y'all. (Except for the snow - I think I'd be mad too!!!) Congratulations Calvin - a decision for Jesus is the most important choice you'll ever make!!!

Calvin. Wish we could have been there with you all. I think G'pa talked to you about that. Glad you love Jesus. I bet music festival was fun. The other night on the news we saw like 1000 of those fizzy things you did when you were at our house. They have the record for the most at one time. Love. G'ma O.
